What kind of files can I upload?
Mediagraphics accepts print-ready files in any of the following formats: .EPS, .JPG, .TIFF, .BMP, .GIF.
We can also print raster images (.JPG, .TIFF, .BMP, .GIF) independent of the application program used to create such designs if they are submitted at high-quality, uncompressed 150 dpi resolution. Please note that if you have an artwork file in any other format (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint), please create an EPS or raster file that can be uploaded.
What size files can I upload?
There is no limit to the size of file you can upload. However, the larger the file, the more time that is needed to upload your file.
The time needed to upload your file will vary depending on file size, your connection speed (broadband vs. dialup), and other programs running on your computer. A small file can be uploaded in less than one minute while a large 50 MB file may take 20 minutes to upload.
How do I know if my files uploaded successfully?
You will see a preview of your artwork before adding it to your shopping cart. Please check the preview for accuracy before adding it to your cart.
Do I need to send fonts?
It is important that you supply all fonts used in your layout. If you do not supply fonts in your artwork file, we will request that you resubmit your files with fonts included.
If you have vector artwork and your file is missing fonts, you can open your file in Illustrator, select the text and "Create Outlines", re-save your artwork file, and then upload it.
If you have artwork that is rasterized, you can open your file in Photoshop and select "Flatten Layers", re-save your artwork file, and then upload it.
Please do not submit your fonts separately from your file because it is critical that we receive your print-ready file with fonts included to avoid any printing issues.
Can I mail my files to Mediagraphics?
Yes. We accept CD and DVD. If you are interested in submitting your files on a disk, you need to mail your disk with files to:

How long does it take to print my order?
Production time for your print job begins once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins when we receive approval for your proof.
Production time varies by size of order, ranging from one to five business days.
Production time does NOT include shipping time, and you should allow additional business days for delivery based on the shipping method you selected.
Please note that Mediagraphics offices are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. As a result, these days are not considered when calculating production time.
What if I want to get a color proof?
When color fidelity is critical, Mediagraphics recommends that you order a hardcopy color proof. A hardcopy color proof is the ONLY way to ensure the color accuracy for your print job.
What if I have specific Pantone colors in my artwork?
It is impossible to guarantee 100% color accuracy. However, you can indicate on your order which Pantone colors were used in your artwork.
When color is critical, Mediagraphics recommends that you order a hardcopy color proof. A hardcopy color proof, which can be selected for most Mediagraphics products, is the ONLY way to ensure the color accuracy for your print job.

What resolution should my photos/artwork be?
For an image to print properly, the image must be at least 150 dots per inch (dpi) at the final output size.
Resolution, also known as DPI (Dots Per Inch), can be described as the number of dots that fit horizontally and vertically into a one-inch space. Generally, the more dots per inch, the more detail captured and the sharper the resulting image.
